Challenge        

Past Stockpile branding:
inconsistent, gift-oriented, retail-driven, illustration-heavy, and juvenile.

New Stockpile branding principle, mobile first:
The Stockpile voice is both credible and approachable. It’s smart. Confident. Super-knowledgable. But never preachy. It doesn’t repeat every boring detail from a textbook. It gets to the point quickly. It gives you just enough info to spark your curiosity — so you want to find out more on your own.


Understanding        

Each sprint with the product team, we tried to identify any usability problems. We set up a few in-person user testings to collect qualitative and quantitative data, and determine their satisfaction with the product.
 

Exploration        

Based on the understanding, I’ve worked closely with Head of Mobile to bounce back ideas from a simple interface change to a complex transactional user flow that needs a solid technical comprehension of external tools.
